The Aqara Climate Sensor W100 is a direct Matter-over-Thread temperature and humidity sensor with a small on-device display. That makes it more useful at a glance than a hidden sensor, especially in bedrooms, nurseries, offices, and hobby rooms.
It also supports Aqara's broader ecosystem path, but the clean Matter route is Thread. You need a Matter controller and a Thread border router for direct pairing.
