Outdoor switching through Matter

The value depends on the installation more than the logo. The outlet needs weather protection, safe cord routing, and enough 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal.
Setup path
Pair the plug before final placement, then move it to the outdoor outlet and test again. If it goes offline outside, solve the Wi-Fi problem before building scenes around it.
The Tapo app remains useful for firmware and TP-Link schedules. Matter handles cross-platform switching.

Compare TP25 against P400M and Kasa EP40M based on price and physical fit. If the load is a dimmable string light, this is not the right device.
