A narrower Ultra variant
This is still Nuki Smart Lock Ultra, but the buyer problem is different from the Euro profile model. The Swiss round profile version exists for a specific door hardware path, so compatibility should be boring before price, Matter support, or accessory bundles enter the discussion.
If the door is right, the payoff is the same Nuki Ultra platform: a compact interior retrofit lock, Matter over Thread for ecosystem control, and Nuki's app for setup and deeper lock management.
What Matter changes and what it does not
The lock can join Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings, or Home Assistant through Matter over Thread. That removes the need for a Nuki bridge for the Matter path, but it does not turn every Nuki access feature into a portable Matter feature.
Plan on using the Nuki app for installation, calibration, firmware, remote access choices, and accessory pairing. Use your Matter ecosystem for the shared lock-control layer.
Check the cylinder before comparing prices
The wrong lock shape turns a good Matter product into a return. Confirm Swiss round profile compatibility, make sure a Thread border router reaches the entry, and then compare this against the more general Euro profile Ultra or the less expensive Pro and Go models.
