A four-pack for 4-inch recessed lighting
Tapo L730-4 KIT is a project product. It is meant to install multiple 4-inch smart downlights and bring them into Matter over Wi-Fi without a separate lighting bridge.
That can be cleaner than mixing bulbs and wall controls, but it requires planning. Fixture size, wiring, grouping, and Wi-Fi reach all matter.
Setup path
Confirm the ceiling and wiring requirements first. During setup, name each downlight by location before pairing into the ecosystem. Good names make scenes and voice control much easier once four similar lights are in the same room.
Use Tapo for firmware, effects, night-light behavior, and any Tapo Mate switch setup. Use Matter for the shared smart-home controls.
What to check
Buy the kit when you are already replacing or adding recessed lights. Do not buy it as a shortcut for a room where a normal bulb or wall dimmer would be simpler.
