Heiman CRSK-FRM is a Matter over Thread smart metering plug. That means it needs a Matter controller with Thread border router support; it does not use a Heiman bridge for the direct Matter path.

Setup path

Should you buy it?

Buy CRSK-FRM when you already have Thread infrastructure and the exact plug format matches the job. Skip it if your ecosystem cannot use the plug state or power data you need, or if the outlet sits outside reliable Thread range.
