Homey [announced its official ConnectLife app](https://homey.app/en-us/news/connectlife-app-for-homey/) on September 10, 2026, bringing compatible Hisense, Gorenje, ASKO, ATAG and Pelgrim appliances into Homey Flows. Owners can combine appliance events with their lighting and sensor routines.

The app works with Homey Cloud, [Homey Pro](/devices/homey-pro), [Homey Pro mini](/devices/homey-pro-mini) and Homey Self-Hosted Server. Install it from the Homey App Store and sign in with the ConnectLife account that already holds the appliances.

## The appliance connection stays in the cloud

The [Hisense-published app listing](https://homey.app/en-us/app/io.smart/ConnectLife/) identifies four supported device types: washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers and split air conditioners. Each uses Cloud technology. Adding the app therefore does not establish a direct Matter path for the appliance or make it available to Apple Home through Matter.

The listing includes washing-finished and dishwasher-program-done triggers, program start and stop actions, and air-conditioner temperature, mode and fan controls. A household already using Matter lights in Homey could use a laundry completion event to turn on a reminder light. This joins the routines in Homey while retaining the appliance's vendor-cloud connection.

## A cheaper-hour Flow still needs remote start

Homey's announcement describes scheduling supported washing machines and dishwashers around Dynamic Electricity Prices in Homey Energy. The appliance must be loaded and ready, with remote start enabled first. A price-triggered Flow cannot remove that physical prerequisite.

For existing ConnectLife owners, trying a completion notification is a sensible first step before scheduling unattended starts. For a new appliance purchase, the brand name alone is insufficient: the announcement says features vary by appliance, and the listing provides no model-by-country support matrix. Matterhome has not tested the integration.
