## The metering Tapo plug for European outlets

Tapo P110M Europe is the regional version to look at when you want a Tapo Matter plug with power monitoring outside the North American outlet format. It connects through Matter over Wi-Fi and does not need a Tapo hub, Thread border router, or bridge.

The reason to choose it over Tapo P100M is metering. The reason to slow down is the same one every metering plug has: Matter control and portable energy history are not the same promise.

## Setup path

Use a reliable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and pair with the Matter code. Keep the Tapo app installed for firmware, richer energy views, and TP-Link-specific settings.

TP-Link's German page lists a 16 A, 3680 W general or resistive load rating. That does not turn the plug into a universal answer for heaters, motors, or appliances with startup surges. Check the load before trusting it.
