Nanoleaf Smart LED Monitor Stand (SQFX03)

Put a tape measure behind the keyboard before thinking about Matter. Nanoleaf x FANTAQI Smart LED Monitor Stand is 100 cm wide and 22.5 cm deep, so it behaves more like a piece of desk furniture than a light bar. It raises the display, lights the work surface from the front, and washes the wall behind the monitor with color.

The North American SQFX03K02-1PA SKU is available now from Nanoleaf's United States store, while its Canadian store is taking preorders for the same SKU. The model has active Matter 1.4.2 certification over Wi-Fi, which means it does not need a Thread border router or a Nanoleaf hub. It still needs a Matter controller for Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings, or Home Assistant use.

Matterhome has not tested the stand, lighting, load capacity, or platform behavior. This guide is based on Nanoleaf's current stores, support material, launch release, and the exact model family's CSA certification.

The stand has to earn its desk space

The useful part of this design is that its two lights have different jobs. Nanoleaf rates the forward task channel at 550 lumens with CRI 97 and a 1700K to 6500K white range. The rear channel is rated at 480 lumens and uses 102 addressable RGB zones for a broad wall wash. Five touch controls on the stand handle power, brightness, color temperature, and scenes without opening an app.

The riser itself measures 12.1 cm tall and supports a monitor up to 28 kg without its center column or 70 kg with the column installed. That capacity sounds generous, but the dimensions decide the purchase. A shallow desk may lose too much keyboard space, while an ultrawide display or dual-monitor layout needs its feet checked against the full one-meter top.

Power is the easily missed extra. The stand uses USB-C and Nanoleaf requires a PD or QC charger rated for at least 15 W. No charger is included. A low-power supply triggers a warning instead of giving the lights their intended output, so budget for the right adapter rather than assuming any spare USB plug will work.

Matter is the simple lighting layer

Nanoleaf recommends adding the stand in the Nanoleaf app on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi first, installing current firmware, and then connecting it to a Matter ecosystem. Direct ecosystem commissioning is also documented for Nanoleaf's Matter-over-Wi-Fi products, but the app-first route gives setup and updates one clear owner.

Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings, and Home Assistant are listed for this exact product. Nanoleaf describes the ecosystem side only as basic lighting control, voice commands, and schedules. The company does not publish an exact matrix showing whether every platform presents the front task light and rear RGB channel as separate, equally capable endpoints. Add the stand to the household's actual controller and check power, dimming, color, and white temperature on both channels before building a workday or gaming routine.

The distinctive features stay with Nanoleaf. Screen Mirror uses the desktop app, Rhythm reacts to music, Sync+ coordinates effects with other Nanoleaf products, and the mobile app provides dynamic and generated scenes. Matter makes the common controls portable. It does not move Nanoleaf's full effects engine into another app.

Buy it as furniture, not as a lighting deal

Nanoleaf launched the stand on July 25, 2026. Its United States store lists the SKU in stock at $169.99 USD, while the Canadian store lists it at $199.99 CAD through a preorder action. That price is easier to defend when it replaces a riser, task lamp, and RGB backlight at once. It is difficult to defend when the monitor already sits on an arm or the desk only needs a small ambient lamp.

Buy it when the one-meter top fits cleanly, the display genuinely needs the lift, and the Nanoleaf effects will be used alongside Matter control. Skip it when desk depth is tight, a charger in the box matters, or the whole purchase depends on both lighting channels behaving identically in a third-party platform. In those cases, a separate riser and a smaller Matter light cost less and leave more room to change either part later.
